Physical therapy, also known as physiotherapy, is one of the allied health professions that, by using mechanical force and movements, manual therapy, exercise therapy, and electrotherapy, remediates impairments and promotes mobility and function.

The department's mission is to prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and professional traits necessary to become competent, compassionate, and contributing professionals in their career choice of Medical Laboratory Science, Radiologic Sciences or Respiratory Care.
